Superior Oxygen Delivery – We use two high-capacity oxygen concentrators with an oxygen booster to maximize oxygen flow at full therapeutic pressure (100 kPa, 2.0 ATA).
Consistent Oxygen Flow – Unlike many centers that lose oxygen output once pressurized, our dual system maintains optimal flow for maximum therapeutic benefit.
Enhanced Healing Power – Higher oxygen saturation at the cellular level helps accelerate recovery, creation of new blood vessels (angiogenesis), reduce inflammation, promote faster tissue repair, fight infections, and boost cellular energy production (ATP) to help the body recover from various conditions.
Advanced Technology – Our equipment setup exceeds industry standards, providing a more effective experience.
Patient Comfort & Care – A clean, spacious, and relaxing environment paired with attentive, knowledgeable staff.
Proven Results – Clients often report feeling noticeable improvement in oxygen delivery and healing outcomes compared to other facilities.
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) is a safe, natural, and non-invasive treatment that delivers concentrated oxygen in a pressurized chamber. This process increases the amount of oxygen dissolved in the blood, helping the body repair, regenerate, and restore balance.
HBOT is widely recognized for its ability to:
Reduce inflammation and swelling
Accelerate wound healing and recovery after injury or surgery
Boost immune function and cellular repair
Support brain health and neurological recovery
Enhance athletic performance and recovery
Improve overall wellness and vitality
Delivering 20–30 times more oxygen to tissues compared to normal breathing
Stimulating stem cell release and angiogenesis (new blood vessel growth)
Reducing inflammation and oxidative stress
Supporting neuroplasticity and brain function
Accelerating wound healing and tissue repair
During Pressurization
As the chamber begins to pressurize, you may feel a gentle pressure change in your ears, much like ascending or descending in an airplane.
Simple techniques such as swallowing, yawning, or chewing help equalize this pressure and keep you comfortable.
Once the chamber reaches the prescribed pressure, the sensation subsides, and you can relax.
While Inside the Chamber
You’ll breathe concentrated oxygen through a mask or nasal cannula while the chamber is filled with filtered air.
The environment is quiet and comfortable — many clients read, listen to music, watch a movie, work on a laptop, or even take a nap during their session.
There is no pain, and most people find the experience soothing and rejuvenating.
After the Session
When the chamber is slowly depressurized, you may feel another mild change in ear pressure, which passes quickly.
Most clients leave their session feeling refreshed, clear-headed, and energized.
There is no downtime, so you can return to normal daily activities immediately.
Common Sensations During Hyperbaric Oxygenation
Ear pressure changes (similar to airplane travel)
Warmth or relaxation while breathing oxygen
Calmness and mental clarity during and after the session
FDA-APPROVED / MEDICALLY RECOGNIZED INDICATIONS
The FDA and Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society (UHMS) recognize Hard Chamber Oxygen Therapy as a treatment for the following conditions:
Decompression sickness (“the bends”) in divers
Air or gas embolism (air bubbles in the bloodstream)
Carbon monoxide poisoning (with or without cyanide poisoning)
Gas gangrene (clostridial myositis and myonecrosis)
Necrotizing soft tissue infections (flesh-eating bacteria)
Chronic refractory osteomyelitis (bone infections not responding to standard treatment)
Compromised skin grafts and flaps (to improve survival of transplanted tissue)
Radiation injury / radiation tissue damage (such as radiation cystitis or osteoradionecrosis)
Diabetic foot ulcers / non-healing wounds (especially in advanced cases, Wagner grade 3 or higher)
Thermal burns (severe burns that require enhanced healing)
Anemia due to blood loss (when transfusion is not possible)
EMERGING / WELLNESS-BASED APPLICATIONS
Beyond emergency medicine, HBOT is increasingly used in wellness and regenerative medicine clinics (like Regen Hyperbaric) to support recovery and overall health. While not all are FDA-approved, studies and clinical use suggest benefits for:
In the early days of hyperbaric medicine, chambers were designed to be filled entirely with 100% pure oxygen. While this approach can be effective in treating specific emergency conditions, such as decompression sickness in divers, it carries significant safety hazards and therapeutic limitations that make it unsuitable for wellness and recovery applications.
Extreme Fire Hazard
Oxygen itself is not flammable, but it is a powerful oxidizer.
In a chamber filled with pure oxygen under pressure, everyday materials — clothing, hair products, or even a small spark — can ignite at much lower temperatures.
Once ignited, fire spreads with explosive speed and intensity, making it nearly impossible to control.
This is why strict hospital-level rules exist, such as banning personal devices and requiring patients to wear special 100% cotton garments.
Ocular and Neurological Side Effects
Prolonged exposure to concentrated oxygen directly against the eyes can cause hyperoxic myopia, a temporary shift toward nearsightedness.
Although usually reversible, this stresses the body unnecessarily and can be avoided with modern chamber design.
Extended exposure to high oxygen levels has also been linked to oxidative stress in cells, which can limit long-term therapeutic benefits.
Lack of Advanced Treatment Protocols
Chambers filled completely with oxygen cannot provide oxygen cycling, also known as the hyperoxic-hypoxic paradox.
This advanced method — alternating between oxygen and air breaks — stimulates stem cell release, vascular growth, and regenerative healing.
By eliminating the option for intermittent breathing protocols, old-style chambers limit the body’s potential to achieve deeper, more natural recovery.
Today’s wellness-focused hyperbaric chambers are designed differently. The chamber itself is pressurized with filtered air, while nearly pure oxygen is delivered safely through a mask or nasal cannula. This innovation drastically reduces fire risk, protects vision, and unlocks more advanced therapeutic strategies.
At Regen Hyperbaric, we have chosen this modern, science-backed approach because it is:
Safer – fire hazards are minimized, and patients can use personal devices comfortably.
More effective – oxygen cycling enhances healing at the cellular level.
More comfortable – clients experience sessions in a secure, stress-free environment.
Types of Hyperbaric Chambers
There are two main types of chambers used in Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, each with unique benefits:
Mild Hyperbaric Chambers (Soft Chambers)
Operate at lower pressures (up to 1.4 ATA)
Often referred to as mild-HBOT
Commonly used for general wellness, energy support, and mild conditions
Suitable for home use or non-clinical environments
Hard Hyperbaric Chambers (Medical-Grade Chambers)
Capable of reaching higher pressures (2.0 ATA and above)
Allow for greater oxygen saturation in the bloodstream
Promote deeper tissue penetration, targeting areas with poor circulation
Provide superior results in cellular repair, neurological recovery, and advanced therapeutic outcomes
At Regen Hyperbaric, we use hard chambers with dual oxygen concentrators and an oxygen booster to maximize therapeutic effectiveness and ensure our clients receive the highest quality of care.
We will conduct a pre-screening to determine your eligibility for HBOT. We also strongly recommend consulting with your physician before beginning any new treatment, including HBOT. We are happy to collaborate with your healthcare team to ensure that HBOT meets your individual needs and goals.
Pressurized Oxygen Therapy is contraindicated in individuals with an untreated pneumothorax and active respiratory infections. It should be used with caution in those with certain chemotherapy agents, COPD with CO₂ retention, seizure disorders, sinus or ear issues, implanted devices, severe anxiety, or during pregnancy.
Safety and FDA Recognition of HBOT
Yes—Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) is an FDA-recognized therapy that has been safely used for decades to support healing and recovery. When administered by trained professionals, Hyperbaric Oxygenation is considered both effective and safe. At our center, every session is conducted under strict safety protocols to ensure your well-being.
Here’s what you can expect during your treatment:
Professional Oversight – All treatments are supervised by staff trained in hyperbaric therapy, ensuring the chamber is operated safely and effectively.
Continuous Monitoring – Your comfort, oxygen flow, and chamber pressure are closely observed throughout your session.
Gradual Pressurization – The chamber is carefully pressurized to therapeutic levels, allowing your body to adjust with ease.
Relaxing Environment – Most clients find the sessions comfortable and calming; many choose to read, listen to music, or simply relax during treatment.
Post-Session Guidance – After each visit, you’ll be given time to readjust, and our team will answer any questions, helping you track progress toward your goals.
Your safety is always our priority. By combining professional oversight with a personalized approach, we provide an HBOT experience that is both secure and tailored to your needs.
The number of hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) sessions varies depending on your unique health goals and individual response to treatment. Some clients notice positive changes after just a few visits, while others experience the most benefit from a series of 10–40 sessions.
Each session works to saturate your body with higher levels of oxygen under pressure, which helps:
Enhance cellular repair and regeneration by delivering oxygen deep into tissues.
Promote faster recovery from injuries, surgeries, or intense athletic training.
Reduce inflammation and swelling, supporting improved joint and muscle function.
Stimulate collagen production and improve circulation for better skin and tissue health.
Boost immune function, aiding in resilience against illness.
Support brain health by improving oxygen delivery to the central nervous system, which may enhance focus, memory, and cognitive function.
Increase energy and vitality through improved mitochondrial efficiency.
At Regen Hyperbaric, we are committed to guiding you every step of the way. Our team will create a customized plan designed to meet your specific needs, whether your focus is recovery, performance, wellness, or long-term health optimization.
